Asalamualaikum,

On Wednesday 19th August 2020, the Hilal of Muḥarram was not sighted locally here in the UK. The sighting also proved negative in Morocco.

Therefore, the month of Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1441 AH will complete 30 days and the month of Muḥarram will begin from Maghrib on Thursday 20th August 2020. Accordingly, the day of Ashura will be on Sunday 30th August 2020 InshaaAllah.
