Child Education (Madrassah tul Bashir)

Madrassah tul Bashir is the perfect place to foster the hearts and minds of young British Muslims in the South East.

Syllabus

Students are taught a new, up-to-date syllabus where they learn Qur’an, Ḥadīth, Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence), Seerah (Prophetic Biography), Islamic History and Akhláq wal Adáb (Manners and Etiquette).

The syllabus is delivered in English by qualified teachers within a fantastic classroom environment, with an emphasis on uniting communities and offering an understanding of Islam that is both comprehensive and applicable.

Class Times

Classes are run Monday to Friday as detailed below.

Qur'an and Islamic Studies:5.00pm to 6.45pm

Qaidah class (beginners):6.30pm to 7.30pm

Fees

The annual Madrassah fee is £350 per child. The fee is reduced to £300 per child when enrolling two or more siblings. If the full amount is paid in advance, you will qualify for a 5% discount. If you opt to pay monthly, then the fees will be spread over a 10-month period and collected by Direct Debit.

Please note, the cost of books and other study materials is not included in the fee; these will need to be paid for separately.

Application

The application form can either be downloaded or collected from one of the Imams at the Masjid. A completed form is required for each student you wish to enrol and, once complete, should be submitted to one of the Imams.
